There’s something especially meaningful about an intimate celebration in New York City.

Held at Il Buco in downtown Manhattan, Torey’s martini-themed graduation dinner was candlelit and beautifully curated by her sister, Morgan, bringing together close family and friends for an intimate celebration. The toasts were emotional, and every detail felt intentional.

One of my favorite touches was the live fashion illustrations by Rebecca of XO Bex Studio, who created custom sketches for each guest. Watching everyone light up as their portraits came to life added such a beautiful, interactive layer to the night.

Isla’s 1st Birthday Hawaiian Luau | Chez Zou, New York City

Isla’s first birthday celebration was a delightful Hawaiian luau-themed party set against the chic and lush backdrop of Chez Zou in Manhattan West, New York City. The warm indoor lounge and vibrant interior at Chez Zou, along with its playful atmosphere, made it a tropical escape in the heart of the city during March.

Planned with thoughtful flair by Anne Ligeard Mura of Clafoutis Events, Isla’s luau was full of lively colors, island-inspired décor, and joyful moments, blending tropical charm with elegant NYC style. From bright florals and playful luau accents to candid family moments, every scene felt festive and heartfelt.

Gwen’s Bat Mitzvah | The Sherry-Netherland Hotel, NYC

Gwen’s Bat Mitzvah was a beautifully styled and joy-filled event set inside the iconic Doubles Club at the Sherry-Netherland Hotel in New York City. With its classic Upper East Side charm and intimate, members-only feel, the venue created the perfect backdrop for a meaningful and elegant celebration.

Planned seamlessly by Julia Kropiewnicki of NYFF Events, every detail of the day felt intentional - from the flow of the event to the refined design elements that reflected Gwen’s personality. The evening was filled with beautiful moments, lively energy, and thoughtful touches that brought family and friends together in celebration.

Tucked inside one of Greenpoint’s most charming restaurants, Milk and Roses provided a warm, romantic backdrop for this Brooklyn baby shower celebration. With fresh seasonal florals and soft layered textures, the afternoon felt intimate and effortlessly refined. 

The event was beautifully planned and styled by Flying Little Birds, who transformed the space with spring details and a light, joyful palette.

Celine’s first birthday celebration at Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn was the perfect balance of intimate and joyful.

Held in one of the hotel’s open loft spaces overlooking the NYC skyline, the afternoon felt bright, airy, and effortlessly celebratory. Cheerful, spring-forward florals by April Floral added a soft, playful touch against the industrial backdrop - a distinctly Brooklyn setting with a true New York view.

The celebration ended the best way possible: a sweet and very messy cake smash with frosting-covered hands, giggles, and a pink, fluffy party dress that didn’t stand a chance.

Celebrating Nico’s First Birthday!

There’s something especially meaningful about celebrating a first birthday at home. The familiarity of the space makes every moment feel warmer, more relaxed, and deeply personal.

My favorite part of the day was when guests spilled onto the brownstone stoop. The laughter filled the steps as the neighborhood moved quietly around them. It was simple, joyful, and distinctly Brooklyn.
